With a strong market presence and a reputation for service excellence, we are looking for an experienced Head of Industrial Broking to lead and grow the industrial brokerage division in Gauteng.
Role Overview:
The Head of Industrial Broking will be responsible for leading, managing, and growing the industrial brokerage team in Gauteng. This role requires a proven leader with deep industry expertise, a strong business development mindset, and the ability to drive high-value transactions in the industrial property sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of industrial brokers, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Mentor and develop brokers through training, coaching, and market insights.
- Set and monitor sales and leasing targets, ensuring the team meets revenue goals.
- Drive a high-performance culture, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Develop and execute growth strategies for the industrial broking division.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, client engagement, and strategic partnerships.
- Build strong relationships with landlords, investors, and industrial property owners to expand the company’s market presence.
- Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and new developments to stay ahead in the industry.
Sales, Leasing & Transaction Management:
- Oversee large-scale industrial property transactions, including lease negotiations and sales deals.
- Support brokers in structuring complex deals to maximize value for both clients and the company.
- Ensure all transactions comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Work closely with marketing and research teams to develop targeted strategies for property promotions.
Brokerage Operations & Compliance:
- Implement brokerage policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain oversight of lease agreements, sales contracts, and financial transactions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure full compliance with local property laws and industry regulations.
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in industrial property broking with a proven track record in sales and leasing.
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Extensive network and client base in the Gauteng industrial property sector.
- Deep understanding of market trends, investment strategies, and industrial property dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and business development skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic growth plans.
