Job Description:
As a Retail Property Broker, you will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and closing retail property deals throughout Cape Town. You will work closely with landlords, tenants, and investors to secure prime retail locations, ensuring successful lease agreements and sales transactions. This role is perfect for an individual who is driven, client-focused, and has a deep understanding of the retail property landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and list retail properties for lease and sale across Cape Town.
- Build and maintain relationships with retail property owners, landlords, and tenants.
- Conduct property viewings and negotiate lease agreements and sales deals.
- Provide clients with market insights, property evaluations, and strategic advice on leasing options.
- Leverage your network to connect retailers with optimal retail spaces in high-demand areas.
- Stay up to date with the latest retail property trends and developments in Cape Town.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful deal closures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of experience in retail property leasing.
- Extensive network within the retail industry is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to source retail tenants and close retail property deals.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Client-focused with the ability to provide tailored solutions to both landlords and tenants.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
